Coronavirus - update for our customers

At National Express, we are trusted to carry thousands of passengers across the UK every day. As we all face the unprecedented situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is more important than ever that we operate safely and responsibly.

We take the welfare of our customers and employees extremely seriously and will do everything we sensibly can to keep them safe.

As a business, we are continually reviewing what actions we need to take to protect our customers and employees and remain resilient.

The expert advice from public health authorities around washing hands frequently, what to look out for and what to do if you develop symptoms, is being regularly shared with all of our staff.

We have enhanced our extensive vehicle cleaning regimes to ensure we maintain high levels of hygiene for both drivers and customers and reduce the risk of contact with Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to follow advice from public health bodies and introduce any additional measures that are recommended or required.

We are currently running services as normal

Important service update - 24th March 2020

As operators of the Ring and Ride service , National Express are trusted to carry thousands of passengers across the West Midlands every day. As we all face the unprecedented situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is more important than ever that we operate safely and responsibly. We take the welfare of our customers and employees extremely seriously and will do everything we sensibly can to keep them safe.

Following the latest Government restrictions, we have taken the unprecedented decision to immediately suspend the normal Ring and Ride service, with the exception of essential shopping trips and urgent medical appointments which do not relate to COVID-19. For these trips, no more than 2 people are to be carried in a vehicle to ensure social distancing from each other and the safety of the driver.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. We hope to restore our normal service as soon as we can.
