New buses launched at the
Black Country Living Museum

Seven brand new Ring and Ride minibuses were launched on Tuesday 22 March 2016 at the iconic Black Country Living Museum.

To mark the occassion, we took the opportunity to name the new vehicles after our longest standing passengers - some of which have been using the door-to-door service for over 28 years.

David Bermingham, our Chief Executive was delighted to be introducing the new vehicles in the Black Country, “I’m honoured to be launching these seven new vehicles in the Black Country area. This investment cements our commitment in continuing to provide our vital service to the people of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.”

He added “we wanted to mark the occasion by thanking those passengers who have been travelling with us the longest, so those users of Ring and Ride will have their names displayed on the new vehicles.”

Glenis Williams, Strategic Audience Development Manager for the Black Country Living Museum said “We are delighted to be working with Ring and Ride to host this special event. We hope that this is the beginning of a longstanding relationship between the two organisations as we strive to improve access across the Museum and ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a great, educational day out.”
